and using cartilage grafts in the space created through dissection,

the nasal tip is extended downwards.

Bulbous Nose

This refers to a nose with a round and wide nasal tip.

For this type of nose, because the tip is wide, fat is removed

and the cartilages are gathered together to transform a blunt-looking nose line

into a sleek one.

Alar Reduction

This refers to a nose where the alae (nostril wings) are large and spread sideways.

When the alae are excessively large compared to the nose, it creates

a dull or heavy impression.

For this type of nose, a portion of the widely spread nostril tissue is

removed, the tissue is repositioned, and then

micro-sutured so that scars are not visible.
