Round Bulbous Nose, Is a Glamorous Line Possible?

Today, we will talk about a patient with a round, bulbous nose

who underwent rhinoplasty.

The patient originally had a round, bulbous nose

and wanted the most glamorous line possible,

specifically a jik-ban (straight-to-slightly-curved) line.

To create the line the patient desired,

we performed dorsal hump correction, bulbous nose correction,

columella correction, and short nose correction

using silicone, ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated rib cartilage.

​

The head doctor created the nose line

to match the patient's needs as closely as possible,

achieving the desired line.
