Hello. This is VIBE Plastic Surgery.

Today, we've brought you before-and-after photos of a patient who underwent implant-free rhinoplasty.

Before the surgery, the patient's nose wasn't low, but it appeared long and somewhat crooked, with a droopy nasal tip.

This patient was able to proceed without implants, so we elevated the nasal tip using septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage, without the use of any artificial implants.

Since there was also a slight dorsal hump and a long nose, we performed a correction for those issues as well.

Let's take a look at the before-and-after results together through photos^^

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are used for non-implant rhinoplasty?

Cartilage such as septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage is used. The patient in the main text had their drooping nasal tip raised and nasal line naturally corrected using only these cartilages, without artificial implants like silicone.

Is it possible to perform non-implant surgery for a hooked nose or a long nose?

Yes, it is possible. The surgical case in the main text had a slight hooked nose and appeared to have a long nose, but the long nose and hooked nose were successfully corrected using autologous cartilage and donated costal cartilage without the use of implants.

When can I check the progress after surgery?

Clear changes can be observed starting from one month after surgery. In the main text, before-and-after photos (side, 45-degree side, and front views) taken one month after surgery are compared to show the results of a raised nasal tip and corrected hooked nose.

What are the possible side effects after rhinoplasty?

Complications such as asymmetry, inflammation, infection, and bleeding may occur. The occurrence and severity of side effects after surgery vary depending on the individual's constitution and condition, so special attention is required according to the medical staff's guidance before and after surgery.
